• Created in 2002 and based in Paris, Shânti Asset Management is a portfolio manager approved by the AMF (Authority of Financial Markets) since October 2003. Shânti Asset Management had received a general agreement for using alternatives and credit derivatives (CDO,CDS) within its portfolio. With respect to the management of Shânti India, the company and the fund has been registered in March 2006 by the Indian market regulator Security and Exchanges Board of India (SEBI).
• The capital of Shânti Asset Management is majority held by the managing founders, professionals from major international banks. BNP PAM (BNP Paribas Asset Management) holds a 10% stake in the capital since 2005.
• Shânti Asset Management offers its clients, a quality management, robust and prudent allocation of funds, flexible in equity, bonds and alternative and emerging funds focussed on India.
• The objective of Shânti Asset Management is to provide investors a financial performance superior to inflation growth inclusive, on a horizon of 3 to 5 years, after accounting for all risk measures of possible losses.
